KENNEWICK, Wash. - A manufacturing company coming to Kennewick will bring one hundred more jobs to the area.
San Juan Pools and Spas broke ground this morning on a new 10,000 sqare foot building.
City of Kennewick Mayor James Beavor, Port of Kennewick representatives and city commissioners attended the ground breaking.
The facility will serve Northern Canada, Montana, Idaho, Washington and Northern California.
San Juan Pools and Spas President Todd Sullivan says they're looking for machine operators, truck drivers and people to work in the yard.
"By the time the facility is built and we have all the permits and duplicate all our molds... currently I employ about one hundred people at the facility in Arizona which will be a mirror of what we will have here," says Todd Sullivan, President of San Juan Pools & Spas.
The facility will be built on 7th Avenue off of Gum street in Kennewick.
That location currently serves as a distribution center for San Juan Pools and Spas.
