Tax Payers in Washington are Missing Out on Benefits
Using tax paying software or even visiting an accounting firm can reduce your refund check more than you would like. So, here's an alternative, e-filing. Not a new idea for most tax payers but doing it at no cost is. Its called Free File, where people who made 52,000 dollars or less in 2006 can file their taxes for no charge. The IRS reports that over 1.8 million people in Washington are eligible to use free file and that only 103,000 took advantage last year.
