Oregon State Police Looking to Hire 200 New Troopers

PENDLETON, Ore.- Oregon State Police are launching a new recruiting program, hoping to hire 200 new troopers in the next couple years.

It's called "OSP Project 200."

Right now, large areas of Oregon are unpatrolled because of a lack of troopers.

They also want money from the legislature to help out with more training for current troopers.
