Yakima, WASH - Expect to see some improvement to the Yakima County Stadium this year. The state senate is handing over $433,000 dollars. The money will go towrads a brand new outfield fence and the lighting. The lights right now don't meet baseball requirements. If they weren't fixed or replaced the Yakima Bears would not be allowed to play baseball at the stadium next season. The new metal light poles will replace the wood ones and all of the bulbs will be replaced aswell. The Bears will pay $750,000 for there improvements and they expect them to be complete by June 1st.
