Yakima, WA - A public hearing to discuss the new Wal-Mart that could be built on 64th Avenue and Nob Hill Boulevard will be at the Davis High School auditiorium at 6 p-m Thursday. The hearing will cover 17 adjustments that wal-mart wants to make to its initial site plan. Some of the issues being discussed.... A new lighting plan, increasing the square footage of the store, adding more parking spaces, and putting in a 500 foot smoking shelter. This public hearing next step in putting the Wal-Mart. The building of this Wal-Mart has been highly debated around Yakima since the land formerly owned by congdon orchards was sold and re-zoned.
