Prosser, Wa.,--Another school became a target of a bomb threat today.
It happened at around 11:30 this morning, just before students were preparing for lunch. Apparently, a teacher was cleaning up a classroom and found a suspicious note indicating that a bomb would go off.
School officials immediately sounded the fire alarm and evacuated the entire building. Superintendent of Prosser School District says this event is serious and the individuals involved will be dealt with severely.
"We're not going to tolerate these kinds of behaviors," said Tolcacher. "If we catch them, we're going to prosecute these people that are doing this to the full extent of the law."
This threat is obviously a concern for parents, faculty, and students who last week dealt with reports of a hit-list. One parent I spoke with said she kept her child out of school on Friday because she was worried.
Prosser High School will have normally scheduled classes tomorrow.
