The music never dies

Posted: Updated:

ELLENSBURG, Wash --  Last March, a devastating fire destroyed the Darigold building and displaced the artists, tradesmen and musicians who worked out of the Darigold.

But the music never dies and the musicians of the Darigold have joined together to put on a benefit to help replace some of the equipment and instruments that were lost.

The Sounds of the Darigold Benefit Auction and Dance will be held on May 5, 2007 at the Moose Lodge, at 206 North Main Street in Ellensburg.

It will begin at 2pm until go until 10pm.

The benefit will also include a silent auction, from 2-8pm, with many donations from the community. Rodney Turner, world known percussionist and producer, has assembled a stellar lineup of local, regional, national and international musicians who will be performing a wide ranging variety of music.
