PASCO, Wash. -- Today in Pasco, farmers opened up shop for the first day of this summer's farmer's market. Local farmers brought out all their early seasonal crops like asparagus and lettuce. Farmers say that early in the season they don't have as many crops ready but that today was a very good start to the season.
The Farmer's Market will be open every Wednesday and Sunday from now until October 27th from 8am to noon. Farmers say they expect the market to get busier and busier as the season goes on.
