BENTON CITY, Wash. - Benton County Deputies said a woman hit a pole, flipped her truck on its side and then fled the scene.
It happened at around 7 o'clock Tuesday night in Benton City at the intersection of Whan Road and Corral Creek Road.
Deputies said the suspect, a 50-year-old woman with prior DUI convictions, escaped in a nearby orchard.
Neighbors said they were afraid and concerned about a suspect on the loose.
A police K-9 dog was brought to the scene to search for the suspect but she was no where to be found.
The suspect's truck was damaged and towed from the scene.
Deputies said she is now wanted for a felony hit and run.
