KENNEWICK, Wash. - One of the Fever's Big Three receivers is on the IR. Michigan State alum Leroy McFadden has torn groin and has been placed on injured reserve, meaning he will miss at least four games, beginning Friday at Green Bay.
The injury also sidelined McFadden last weekend, when the Fever beat Stockton at home. Through four games, he has 25 catches for 330 yards and 4 TDs. WR George Carter comes off the IR this week to take his spot on the roster.
In other moves, 6'3 350 pound Wilbert Martin has been traded to Corpus Chrisiti for future considerations. Martin asked for the trade to be close to his family. Also Thursday, the league assigned the Fever OL/DL Terrell Goldon, a rookie from VMI.
