Teenage Girl Won't be Charged as Adult in Murder Case

Yakima, WA -   One of the teenagers that was allegedly involved in a murder in Outlook won't be tried as an adult.

The state dropped its decline motion against 15-year-old Lorena Leon, so she will be tried in juvenile court.

Sheriff's Deputies say Leon was in the car when 20-year-old George Salinas III was shot to death in what they are saying was a gang related shooting.

The case for the alleged shooter - 15-year-old Bernardo Trevino - has been continued until June 8th.

Trevino and Leon are accused of being involved in the shooting death of 20-year-old George Salinas III.
