KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Washington State's Click It or Ticket Program is in full effect and officers are seeing more violators in some areas than in others. They say they think they are seeing more violators in cities, rather than on freeways.
Friday night, Washington State Troopers staked out Highway 240 and say that while they got some violators, they don't see nearly as many as Kennewick Police were seeing earlier this week inside the city limits.
Overall, troopers say you should wear a seatbelt wherever you are. Troopers say they are happy to report that it was a quiet Friday night for Click-It-Or-Ticket.
