RICHLAND, Wash. -- Three car prowlers were arrested in Richland Saturday morning. Police located one suspect, then he told them where the other two were hiding. Authorities were called when a watchful neighbor heard glass breaking and noticed the suspects in his friends car. It happened just before \four this morning on Duportail Street.
The neighbor yelled to the suspects and they took off running. Police say 22-year Raul Estrada of Pasco was booked into Benton County Jail. Two hispanic males were also taken to the Juvenile Detention Center.
Police say the cars that were broken into were locked but they do warn other car owners about leaving valuables in their car. They say car stereo face plates are a popular target for thieves.
