RICHLAND, Wash. - Richland authorities are investigating a recent structure fire. They think it might be arson.
Richland Firefighters responded to 1156 Geneva Street in Richland at 2:30 Saturday morning.
Firefighters said there was smoke and flames coming from the home. The Richland Fire Department, Richland Police and the Fire Marshall are involved in an investigation.
No one was reported injured. Firefighters said the front of the home was burned. Authorities said the fire looked suspicious.
Richland Battalion Chief James Hempstead said, "It was suspicious that there was no apparent cause for an exterior fire."
Firefighters said there was damage done to the front of the home. Anyone with information is asked to contact authorities.
