YAKIMA, Wa - Construction workers finished installing the news lights at Yakima County Stadium.
The Yakima Bears received $750,000 in state money to get the lights and put in a new wall from center to right field.
"I think any contruction project, you're worried about timelines and getting everything down and in time," says K.L. Wombacher, GM of the Yakima Bears, "We set a June 1st deadline with the engineer and we did that for leeway and they're going to have everything done, which is incredible actually."
The Bears will be getting another $594,000 in state money for renovations next year.
