Yakima, WA - The Department of Transportation says they don't expect any lane closures on I-82 in Yakima during heavy traffic hours this week. However if you're traveling overnight you may see a little bit of construction. Crews are working on the state route 24 and Nob Hill Boulevard exit...that's exit 34.
On SR 24, Monday through Friday, from 6 am until 6 pm, flaggers will be stopping traffic from time to time, to allow construction vehicles to get through. The DOT says to expect delays if you take that road in the morning as you go to work.
Out by Ellensburg, from the Thrall Road exit on I-82 until it hits I-90, there will be crews paving and upgrading guard rails. No major delays are expected by use caution as you go through that area.
