KENNEWICK, Wash. - The retrial for a Richland man convicted of murder, for now, looks like it will stay in the Tri-Cities.
All of the superior court judges in Benton and Franklin counties got recused from the Kevin Hilton case.
Back in Back in 2003 a jury convicted Hilton of murdering his landlords Larry and Jo Ulrich. An appeals court overturned the conviction, and the State Supreme Court called for a retrial.
According to the clerk's office, the court brought in Judge William Acey from Milton-Freewater. Today he intended to set a new trial date, but neither of Hilton's attorney's were available.
