RICHLAND, Wash. -- Firefighters believe a fire on the 400 block of Snow Avenue started in a nearby car while someone was working on the engine.
Firefighters from all over the area were called to the fire at about five Saturday night. About a hundred people were outside watching as crews battled the flames. Snow Avenue was shut down for several hours and smoke could be seen for miles down 240.
All three Richland fire trucks along with firefighters from Hanford, West Richland, and Pasco responded. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured.
