KENNEWICK, Wash. -- A new survey shows that even with higher gas prices, people continue to drive to work alone. The study says 77 percent of people drive alone while only 5% percent use public transportation.

Locally, Ben Franklin Transit is seeing 2.3% less people on their buses. BFT officials say they think the decrease is because of higher fares and no more free rides on Saturdays.
