For the first time in the past 23 years ... Perry Technical Institute is adding a new program to the school. The brand new program, computer applications and office administration, is aimed at bringing in more female students to the school. Right now, only about 6% of Perry Tech students are women.
The program will teach students how to use various Microsoft Office programs, as well as skills like business ethics and business communications. It will be a one year program, and in that time span, students will complete 94.5 hours of classes.
Classes start on September 24, but if you want to get registered, perry tech would like you to register about a month in advance.
