Cowiche, WA - WASL science scores for eighth graders at Highland Junior High School have been invalidated.
State officials decided to do this after a teacher gave the students sample science questions from last year's test.
Students told another teacher that they recognized some questions from their study guide.
The school district investigated and discovered that the teacher who was prepping the students photocopied portions from the WASL's 2006 science section.
That teacher - Darryl Hartung - has been reassigned to another school.
The students won't retake the test.
