ELLENSBURG, Wash -- The Ellensburg Rodeo is tearing down a set of bleachers to make way for a new set of seats.
They will be installed in the Southeast corner of the arena, and will hold 884 people. Including 125 stadium style seats.
"This is part of an ongoing effort to give the Rodeo Arena more of a stadium style-type feel and make it more intimate," said Rodeo Spokesman, Jeff Faltus. "It will be an excellent spot to see the grand entry."
The Rodeo kicks off August 31st, and runs until September 3rd. The new seat are expected to be finished in time for the start of the Rodeo.
