Yakima tries to stay cool

YAKIMA, Wash -- With temperatures soaring into the triple digits, it seems everyone is looking for a way to stay cool.

The Franklin Pool was packed all day with people seeking relief from 100 plus temperatures. Even as temperatures cool to the mid-90s around 6pm, the pool was still packed.

Inside the mall, business was good at the Orange Julius stand.

"Sales of fruit smoothies are up 22%," said Richard Huard, the manager.

With more hot weather expected, anyone offering relief should be busy.
