PASCO, Wash.- Accused murderer Vicente Ruiz pleads not guilty Tuesday to five counts of murder and one of attempted murder.
Ruiz is accused of participating in the brutal shootings at Medina's Auto Body Shop in Pasco in 1987.
He was extradicted from Mexico last month.
One of Ruiz's public defenders removed himself from the case because he was one of the prosecutors who put away Ruiz's co-defendant.
Ruiz faces life in prison if convicted.
