Yakima, WA - Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences began to lay down concrete Wednesday morning. They put it down early while it was still cool outside, because the concrete drys better in cooler temperatures. Chairman of the university Dr. Llyod Butler was on hand, and expressed his excitement. After years of planning, he said seeing the physical start to the university was a great experience.
Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences is an accredited medical college. They plan to have their first classes in the fall of 2008m when they will welcome 70 medical students to campus.
