Sofia Juarez Pictures to Appear on Side of Semi-trucks Nationwide to Aid Search

KENNEWICK, Wash.- A new program by the State Patrol is extending the search for Sofia Juarez, missing from Kennewick since February of 2003.

Gordon Brothers Incorporated has postered the pictures on the side of some of their trailers along with the words, "Have you seen me?"  The trucks will travel nationwide with the hopes someone will come up with the key clues police need.

Sofia's mother calls it another sign of hope.

"It's really exciting.  It's something new for us.  And I'm really hoping that it really works and sooner or later we have, we're going to have results for it," said Maria Juarez.

The posters are part of a program between the trucking company, Kennewick Police and the State Patrol.

This is the sixth missing person statewide to be posted on a truck since the program started.

One person has already been found in Montana.
