WEST RICHLAND, Wash. - A number of homeowners in West Richland got a scare when flames got close to their property off Mount Adams Drive.
Firefighters from Benton County responded to a wildfire that burned about three acres of land.
Crews were at the scene for a few hours Sunday afternoon. Authorities said fire mixed with dry and hot conditions make for a terrible combination.
