Man Wanted In LA for Child Rape Arrested by Pasco Detectives
PASCO, Wash. - A man wanted by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department was taken to Franklin County Jail after Pasco Detectives located him living on the 200 block of Cedar Avenue in Pasco.
L.A. County Sheriff's Deputies have been looking for him for seven years. Police said 40-year-old Luis Inzunza had a warrant for his arrest and his bail was set at 10-million dollars.
He is wanted for 10 different counts of various alleged sex offenses, including rape of a child, sexual assault of a child, and lewd conduct.
Pasco Police said he does not have a criminal record with the Pasco Police Department. Pasco Police Captain Jim Raymond said, "He wasn't classified as an offender. He wasn't even on the radar. It's a good thing we got the call and were able to get him in custody."
He will now have a number of hearings and authorities are in the process of sending him back to California. It is unclear how long he has been living in the Tri-Cities.
Police said he was taken into custody without incident.
