Yakima, WA - Two lower valley schools are getting help from the state to pay school construction costs.
The office of the superintendent of Public Instruction is giving a little more than $15 million to the Toppenish School District. The money will go to improving the existing high school.
The Sunnyside School District will get another six and a half million dollars to build a new building for Sun Valley Elementary.
OSPI gave a total of $393 million to schools across the state.
