The Milling Period: Claude Comeau is Mr. Clean

Mike Fetscher and Kirk Duncan have been behind most of the videos you see on from Madison, Evansville, and elsewhere.  Now, they're launching a new feature called "The Milling Period."  This feature will take a look behind the scenes at the people that make boat racing special.

The first edition is Claude Comeau, affectionately known as "Mr. Clean."  Claude has been with Jean Theoret for the past 24 years.  His job?  Keep things clean.

"My main job is to keep the equipment as clean as possible," said Mr. Clean.  That's what he's doing with the U-37 Beacon Plumbing team now.

He first got hooked on boat racing when he was four years old.  He did a get a chance once to drive a 5 litre boat, but decided he'd rather not be a driver.  "I'd rather wash the boat than drive it," he said.
