KENNEWICK, Wash.- Just two days until the boats start hitting the river for the Lamb Weston Columbia Cup, and the course is set up.
Officials say they got the course in order and ABRA certified Tuesday.
They're putting the final touches on the park, putting up fencing and setting up garbage cans and say they'll be ready when the boats start to roll in.
"We have a saying for Thursday, everything with wheels come on Thursday, so that's everything from the vendors to the boats to the, even people," said Kevin Smith, the Pit Director.
Officials are still putting the final touches on the pits but say they're already ahead of schedule and things will be ready to go come the weekend.
