Selah, WA - Because of demand from the public....the Wenas Creek Mammoth Dig will be open Saturday August 4th. Many people want to see the historic dig, but can't get out to see it during the week because of work. People also cannot take their kids when they are in camp. The dig will be open Saturday from 9 am until 3 pm. The excavation is taking place at 1770 South Wenas Road. It is only on Saturday, not on Sunday. Last Wednesday...the History Channel was out at the dig, filming the site.
