Future Plans To Alleviate Traffic At Road 68 In Pasco
PASCO, Wash. - Pasco city leaders are making plans to alleviate future traffic congestion at Road 68.
The city is working on syncing up the street signals for better traffic flow, adding extra road at the I-182 off ramp for easier access on and off the interstate. The city is also looking at creating a new interstate exit at Road 48.
"What we're trying to do is provide more avenues of travel for people to the plateau and the county," said Bob Alberts, City of Pasco, Public Works Director.
The City of Pasco representatives said they're already working with the county to expand Road 100. They said once finished less truck drivers would use Road 68 to get to the interstate.
