The Better Business Bureau Warns Consumers about a Scam Locksmith Try to Pull

When you give your keys over to a locksmith you trust them with your most valued possessions.

But the Better Business Bureau is warning people about scammers.

There's been reports in the state of people pretending to be locksmiths, or legit workers making copies of your keys.

Other scammers will charge more then they were quoted over the phone.

Norma Miller from the Better Business Bureau says people want to trust the locksmith because he is re-keying your house, he's re-keying your car, you want to make sure they're not making a duplicate key to come back at a later date so there's a lot of trust issues with locksmiths so you want to make sure you are dealing with a reputable company.

The B-B-B says people should be careful of locksmiths in unmarked vehicles and locksmiths without the proper identification.
