Speeding Still a Concern on Local Interstates

KENNEWICK, Wash.--Washington State Patrol says weekends are primetime for speeding.

Between 10:30am and 2:30pm this afternoon, Trooper Grant Smith pulled over 10 drivers going well over the posted interstate speed of 70 mph near the Kennewick exit.

One driver was caught going 85 miles an hour. He was ticketed and now has to pay $144 dollars in fines.
