Neighbors And Police In Richland Frustrated By Graffiti Problems

RICHLAND, Wash. - Wednesday night Richland Police were searching for graffiti suspects.

Neighbors are frustrated and so are police.

Tagger's hit a number of license plates and made negative statements about Pacific Northwest.

Authorities report that North Richland has been hit near Leslie Groves Park.

Police got a number of reports August 28.  There were similar reports on August 9th.  Black spray paint was used in many of the cases

Neighbors are upset and annoyed.  Area resident Brad Begalka said, "You see things like this the next morning of course and you think maybe we are not so safe.  Someone is out here doing crazy thing at night.  It's a little concerning."

Police said more graffiti was found on area sidewalks, playground equipment, cars and a dumpster.

Anyone with information on who is responsible for all the graffiti is asked to contact Richland Police.
