KENNEWICK, Wash. - Results are in on whether or not a Kennewick man accused of murder is mentally fit to stand trial.
On Thursday Igor Samolyuk's defense attorney reported a doctor's findings stating Samolyuk is mentally competent.
He's accused of stabbing his wife to death last summer.
Doctor Larry Wilson from Harborview Medical Center interviewed Samolyuk and his family members.
He found no reason Samolyuk could not stand trial.
His trial is now set for October 15th.
