KENNEWICK, Wash. - The United Service Organization is on a 30,000 mile goodwill tour across America to provide care packages to troops overseas.

On Friday the 31st the USO will be stationed in an 18 wheel semi at the Ranch and Home on Columbia Center Boulevard in Kennewick.

Visitors can purchase a 25 dollar care package full things like a pack of cards, toiletries, magazines, disposable cameras and more.

When the USO began the tour in January, the goal was to send 10,000 care packages to troops.  So far, over 14,000 care packages have been sent already.   The company will visit 70 communities before the years over.

Waddell and Reed is working in conjunction with the U.S.O to help provide care packages to U.S. Troops overseas as part of the operation U.S.O care package program.
