ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) - 4-year-old Zoe Byler wanted a sibling and so, with the aid of fertility drugs, her parents obliged.
Zoe got a sister, but she also got five brothers.
Zoe's mother, Karoline Byler of Wesley Chapel, Florida, gave birth to sextuplets last night. The babies were born at 29 weeks and four days. A hospital spokeswoman says "Mom and the six babies are doing well."
Gifts have been pouring in to Byler and her husband Ben. They have been showered with clothing, diapers, baby wipes and gift cards, as well as six months of in-home care and a $7000 generator for backup electrical power in case of storms.
The babies' grandfather says "it's quite an experience"
