ELLENSBURG, Wash. - The Ellensburg Rodeo may be over, but the memories will be lasting for one Ellensburg family. Nathan Conover, who suffers from autism, not only got to see the rodeo, but got the royal treatment. Thanks to the Western Wish foundation, Nathan got an all access pass to this year's event. All the cowboys got together and autographed his hat. He even got to ride a horse in a parade over the weekend.
"Well, I think if Nathan could express it in words, he would say it's exciting and new for him," said his grateful father Terry. "With the parade and the rodeo, we've been to every event since it started, which was Friday. He just really enjoys the fair and the whole thing. It might be a little tiring at times, but he loves it. He really enjoys the horses and he's good at riding on a horse. Rode on in the parade yesterday."
