SAN DIEGO COUNTY, Calif. -- The man wanted for attempted murder in Synnyside has been arrested.
On August 30th, Alberto R. Irigoyen-Murillo of Auburn, Washington was detained by Border Patrol Agents while illegally re-entering the U.S. in San Diego County, California.
On June 10th, officers responded to shots fired in the 100 block of North 6th street in Sunnyside. When officers arrived they found two men were shot.
Upon investigation, Irigoyen-Murillo was identified as the suspect in the shooting and a warrant of arrest was issued for him on 2 counts of attempted 1 st degree murder.
Irigoyen was identified by his fingerprints and the warrant was found.
Irigoyen was transferred to San Diego County for the extradition proceedings to be transferred to Washington State.
