Mattel Recalls More Toys Made in China

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash. - Mattel is recalling over 800-thousand toys, because they may contain excessive amounts of lead.

Lead can cause serious brain damage when it's ingested by young children.  Barbie doll accessories are included in the recall, as well as Geotrax trains and Bongo Band toys.

All of the toys were made in China and sold last year.  You can find out more about the toys that have been recalled by logging on to the Consumer Product Safety Commission's web site.
