YAKIMA, Wash. - The Wal-Mart vision center, the Boy Scouts of America, and Highgate Senior Living have teamed up to put on the innagural "Walk for Sight". Proceeds will go toward vision screenings and corrective lenses for senior citizens and children who cannot afford vision care. Organizers are expecting around 200 people to participate. Registration for the walk starts at 7a.m. on Saturday at Sarg Hubbard park. The three mile walk at the park begins at 9a.m. It costs ten dollars per person, or a flat fee of thirty dollars for the whole family.
