SEATTLE (AP) - After going 3-1 in the preseason the Seahawks are ready to open at home Sunday against Tampa Bay.
Quarterback Matt Hasselbeck says he's ready to go after playing limited time in the exhibition games to help him recover from offseason surgery on his non-throwing shoulder.
Running back Shaun Alexander is back in shape after missing six games last season with a broken foot bone.
Walter Jones, who protects Hasselbeck at left tackle, and veteran fullback Mack Strong say they're fresh.
Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren aims to return to the Super Bowl, but the team will have to overcome a history of slow starts. Seattle has a league worst record of 10-21 in openers.
