Amber Alert - Three Children Abducted From Their Grandmothers Home Parents Are SuspectsPosted: Updated:
SPOKANE, Wash- Spokane Police officers are currently investigating the disappearance of three Spokane area children. CPS alerted SVPD that 8 year old PAYTON E. JOHNSON, a white female 4'0" 60 lbs brown hair brown eyes, 6 year old BRITTON D. JOHNSON, a white male 3'6" 50 lbs brown hair brown eyes, and 2 year old RILEY P. JOHNSON, a white female 2"6 30 lbs brown hair brown eyes, have not showed up to their Spokane Valley school the last couple of days and could not be located at the address where they had been placed.
According to police, the children were abducted from an apartment complex in downtown Spokane at 228 N Howard, Apartment #409.
The person with whom the children had been placed reported to SVPD that two persons removed the children from the placement home on the morning of September 6th, without force, but did not provide information as to why they were taking the children or where the children would be taken.
The children's parents, ERIC T. JOHNSON, a white male 33 years old and DEIRDRE C. JOHNSON, a white female 33 years old, do not have custody of the children and could not be located by law enforcement. They are considered persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Their vehicle is described as a white Buick Electra 4 door with Washington license 768SDQ.
Spokane Police are initiating an AMBER alert for the missing children. The police department requests that if anyone has information on the whereabouts of the children, the parents, or the listed vehicle to please call 911 (509-532-8940 for out of area 911) or the TIPS line at 509-242-TIPS.
