Bin Laden urges sympathizers to join 'caravan' of martyrs in anniversary video

CAIRO, Egypt (AP) - Osama bin Laden is urging sympathizers to join what he calls the "caravan" of martyrs.

He praises 1 of the September 11th hijackers in a new video emerging on the sixth anniversary of the terror attacks at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

Every September 11th anniversary, al-Qaida has used the tapes in a bid to rally its supporters.

The video shows hijacker Waleed al-Shehri addressing the camera and warning the U.S.: "We shall come at you from your front and back, your right and left."

The video begins with an audiotape introduction by bin Laden. While his voice is heard, the video shows a still image of him, superimposed over images of the burning World Trade Center.

IntelCenter, a monitoring group in suburban Washington, obtained the 47-minute video and provided it to The Associated Press.
