SEATTLE (AP) - University of Washington cornerback Roy Lewis today was honored as the Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Week for his play in the Huskies' 24-10 victory over Boise State at Husky Stadium.

The senior from Los Angeles had an interception, broke up three passes and made 11 tackles, 10 of them solo, last Saturday.

Lewis thwarted two Boise State drives in the fourth quarter, stopping one with his interception and then breaking up a fourth-down passing attempt from the Huskies' 5-yard line.

Off to a 2-0 start, the Huskies were listed as 4-point underdogs today against number 10 Ohio State in next Saturday's game at 12:30 p.m. at Husky Stadium. The Big Ten Conference Buckeyes also are off to a 2-0 start.
