Associated Press - September 18, 2007 3:55 PM ET

WALLA WALLA, Wash. (AP) - A Walla Walla police officer has been fired for sexual misconduct.

Police say 38-year-old Raymond Clayton had inappropriate sex with as many as five women while working nights several years ago -- including an encounter with a 15-year-old girl in his patrol car.

Clayton was placed on paid leave July 24th, and Kennewick police are conducting a criminal investigation.
