PASCO, Wash.- Washington's highest health official honors 25 years of service by Community Health Center La Clinica.
Secretary of Health Mary Selecky visited the center at Friday's 25th Anniversary Luncheon.
Selecky says the state needs more centers like La Clinica.
"They serve tens of thousands of patients, 130,000 a year, and it's very exciting to see that there is access to healthcare for people who otherwise wouldn't get it," Selecky said.
La Clinica's services are open to anyone, but aimed at those who don't have insurance or are underinsured medically.
