RICHLAND, Wash - Today is the final weigh-in for the FLW Outdoor Bass Fishing Tournament and a local man has finished in the top ten!
Kennewick native Mitch Ratchford came into today in the top ten finishers and needed to weigh-in at 8.14 lbs. in order to take over the top spot. Unfortunately Ratchford came in just three ounces short.
Although Mitch didn't win he says he still had such an amazing time. His wife and their five children were in the front row for the big event and the entire crowd was behind the local competitor. In the end Ratchford, who's been fishing the Columbia for 35 years, won over $14,000. He says it'll be helpful to start paying off his credit card, only Mitch lost his credit card on the first day of the tournament!
